Vi har tidigare berört den egenartade undergruppen bland eventuellt billiga börsbolag - företag med mera pengar på bankkontot än deras hela marknadsvärde på börsen. I skrivande stund finns det 18 st sådana europeiska börsbolag i Zenostocks databas. En vanlig undergrupp bland dessa företag utgörs av börsbolag som samlat pengar för att genomdriva enskilda projekt och som därför inte ännu har någon omsättning. Därför är det inte ovanligt att bland denna 'nollvärdesgrupp' hitta företag inom branscher som bioteknologi (läkemedelsutvekling) samt metall- och oljeprospektering.
